Mission Literacy is an international level program from Solidarity Nepal which focuses on basic education for underprivileged children’s and youths in Nepal. The largest single project ever undertaken by us under Education Project is “Mission Literacy” that can assist our children to obtain far better education and ultimately a much better future. Help Our Children in Kathmandu

 

Smriti Magar :

Her age is 2 and half years old. She is from Surkhet. Her both parents are alive but due to their inter cast marriage; they were boycotted from the village. Later her father lost both his hands, so she has no one to look after her. She was brought here through media and has been here since 5 months'

 

Ajit Karki :

His age is 6 years old. He is from Sindhuli. He lost his father but has mother who is insane. Due to his poverty, no one cared him and was left helpless. So the villagers brought him to us and are here since 7 months. Now he is studying in class two.

 

 

Barsha Upadhyay :
Her age is 8 years old. She is from Kalikot. Her both parents are missing during the conflicts between the Maoists and the government. She is left here by her relatives since more then 1 year. Now she is studying in class two.

 

 

Rima Puri :
Her age is 9 years old. She is from pyuthan. There is no any information about her parents. She is handicapped by birth (without a leg). She is here since the beginning and was rescued from the Katmandu bus park (Balaju). Now she is studying in class two.

 

 

Pramila Upadhaya :
Her age is 12 years old. She is from Kanchanpur. Her family was affected by the conflicts during the time of insurgency. She has no mother but has a father who is blind and handicapped with just a leg. She is here since a year. Now she is studying in class four.

 

 

Suman Raut :
His age is 5 years old. He is from Humla. His father is out of contact since he was gone for treatment of T.V. and his mother is missing. He was brought here since 1 month by the help of villagers. Now he is studying in class one.

 

 

Susmita Bhatta :
Her age is 15 years old. She is from Nuwakot. She is both physically and mentally disabling. No any information about her parents. She is residing here since more than two years.

 

 

Anita Tamang :
Her age is 10 years old. She is from Dhading. Her father an alcohol abuser killed her mother when she was just a year of age and later died due to excess use of alcohol. So she was brought here by the villagers since we established this organization. Now she is studying in class four.

 

Safal Nepali:
His age is 8 years old. He is from Mugu. His mother is unknown and his father was killed during the period of insurgency. Villagers rescued him and brought him here by plane from Mugu. He is here since 15 months. Now he is studying at class two.

 

 

Kiran Lama :
He is 10 years old. He from Sindhupalchowk. His father is dead and there is no information of his mother as well. He is with us since our establishment. Now he is studying in class three.

 

 

Sushmita Lama :
Her age is five years old. She is from Dhading. Her both parents are missing. There is no any information about her family. She is with us since a year. Now she is studying in nursery.

 

 

Ganesh Devkota :
His age is 8 years old. He is from Jumla. His father dead due to heart attack. Due to poor economic condition he was brought here. Now he is studying in class five.

 

 

 

Anuja DC :
Her age is 9 years old. She is from Pyuthan. Since a year she is here with us. She has both her father and mother . She was hatred by her parents and was not loved and cared by her parents at all so the villagers brought her here. Now she is studying in class four.

 

 

Manoj GC :
He is 10 years old. He is from Pyuthan. His parents are unknown. He was brought here by the villagers almost a year ago. Now he is studying in class three.

 

 

 

Nitu Dhakal :
Her age is 10 years old. She is from Kalikot. Her father is unable to work due to poor health condition and her mother is mentally ill. She was brought here by a politician a year ago. Her family was a victim of the conflict between the Maoists and the government. Now she is studying in class three.
