President Gautam Back From Remote Village of Dolakha

President Rajendra Gautam returned from a remote village of Dolakha after participating in the joint meeting of Shree Dumsijhang Lower Secondary School and Solidarity Nepal on Saturday Evening.


Upon his arrival from Dolakha, President Gautam said Solidarity’s participation at Hawa-1, Dumsijhang was successful.


Gautam said he informed the school committee about the progress of Scholarship Endowment Fund for 8 female students that will be given from next academic session by Solidarity Nepal in a financial support from Ms. Menuka Karki, Mr. Karun Sapkota and SN Chapter USA.


He said, “This program will be a combination of “Mission Literacy Project” and “Project Smile – Touching the Untouchables” to support the children of underprivileged communities.”


President Gautam had left for Dolakha on August 30 along with Mr. Krishna Prasad Gautam, Treasure of Solidarity Nepal.

During his stay, the President attended the interaction session of the school children’s on Friday and held discussions with Principal Mr. Aanfuri Sherpa and attended a reception hosted by School Management Committee President Dil Bahadur Karki.
